Young Working Saints Blending and Churching Trip To Alor Setar, Sungai Petani and Ipoh (December 19-21, 2025) Part II

The message of the blending this time speaks concerning the change in our concept concerning value. Each one of us has a yardstick in our hearts to measure the value of things, but our measurement of the value of anything is often based on the knowledge about that thing. In my own experience this time, because my boss wanted to treat us for dinner on Friday that clashes with our schedule for this blending trip, I had to make a choice between attending the dinner or participating in the blending trip to northern region. But after listening to the message this time, I thank the Lord that I have made the right choice. To the outsiders, this dinner might seem more precious, but I cherish even more the opportunity to participate in such a blending, to visit churches in various places with the saints. Not merely to behold God's old creation, but what’s more precious is God's new creation. We pray that God will continue to watch over us so that our concept of values may be completely transformed, and that we may see the treasure within our earthen vessels!

“BY FAITH MOSES, WHEN HE HAD GROWN UP, REFUSED TO BE CALLED THE SON OF PHARAOH’S DAUGHTER, CHOOSING RATHER TO BE ILLTREATED WITH THE PEOPLE OF GOD THAN TO HAVE THE TEMPORARY ENJOYMENT OF SIN, CONSIDERING THE REPROACH OF THE CHRIST GREATER RICHES THAN THE TREASURES OF EGYPT; FOR HE LOOKED AWAY TO THE REWARD.” — Heb. 11:24-26

In the northern region blending trip this time, I treasure having the opportunity to blend with the saints in the northern churches including Alor Setar, Sungai Petani and Ipoh. This blending trip shows me that there is really a group of saints who are willing to stand for the Lord in the northern region so that the Lord’s golden lampstands can shine brightly in that locality. This blending trip not merely allows us to blend with the saints in the north, but also provides an opportunity for us the local saints in Petaling Jaya to blend in oneness as well. May the Lord continue to lead us forward, that we would participate in more blending, that we may build up the Body of Christ with saints in all places and witnessing the reality of the Body of Christ. —— LSC
Praise the Lord, through His grace and leading I had the opportunity to participate in the young working saints blending and churching trip to the churches in northern region. This was a special experience, we traveled north to three places: churches in Alor Setar, Sungai Petani, and Ipoh. I had heard of the existence of these three churches before, but I did not have practical blending or fellowship with the local saints.
What impressed me the most about this trip was the meeting at the church in Alor Setar. I enjoyed their sharing and witnessed how the Lord renewed their mind step by step (Rom. 12:2), and changes their concept of value. I was touched by their solid experiences before the Lord, their true knowing of Him, and they humbly submitting to His authority. We see that although the church is small in number, they truly stand strong for the Lord, to be the Lord’s shining golden lampstand.

“AND IF YOU BRING OUT THE PRECIOUS FROM THE WORTHLESS, / YOU WILL BE AS MY MOUTH;”— JER. 15:19

I see that the focus of blending is to be in the spirit, through the cross to fellowship with all the saints. I also see that I cannot go empty-handed, but must always be prepared, be constituted in our daily living, and be able to supply others in the blending. The Lord need His people to be one with Him, to be His channel, to supply His word as the living water (John 7:38) to his beloved church. —— LCY
Praise the Lord for such a blending! I was touched seeing how the saints in these localities were so joyful and eager to see us, with some waiting hours for our arrival. Was also exposed that although I grew up as a church kid in  PJ, there are still so many churches in Malaysia which I have never been to. Just by paying a small price to visit these churches is so beneficial. Not only we supply them but we also are supplied by them.

“BUT WHAT THINGS WERE GAINS TO ME, THESE I HAVE COUNTED AS LOSS ON ACCOUNT OF CHRIST. BUT MOREOVER I ALSO COUNT ALL THINGS TO BE LOSS ON ACCOUNT OF THE EXCELLENCY OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST JESUS MY LORD, ON ACCOUNT OF WHOM I HAVE SUFFERED THE LOSS OF ALL THINGS AND COUNT THEM AS REFUSE THAT I MAY GAIN CHRIST.” — PHIL. 3:7-8

Such blending really refreshes us and delivers us from our stagnant condition. On one hand, we can experience more of the reality of the Body of Christ; on the other hand, we ourselves are also better blended with one another. Though I have seen some of the saints in PJ for many years, just going out together in such a way really blends us together in a deeper way. I also enjoyed the message we pursued regarding the need to have a change in our concept of value. May the Lord gain us in this new year to appreciate even more the preciousness of Christ, that we would be willing to pay the price to gain Christ! —— LPSS
In the three days and two nights young working saints blending and churching trip, the Lord enlarged my capacity to see His Body expressed in each locality. Regardless of the number of the saints in that locality, they are the Lord’s testimonies in that locality as the golden lampstand shining for the Lord. During our visit to a locality, a brother testified how he was transformed from a man who was only concerned with his own needs to a man who was willing to give up his own interests for the sake of the Lord's interests. Especially during the best time of business, the brothers chose to close their shops to attend meetings. I was deeply touched by this testimony.

“THE KINGDOM OF THE HEAVENS  IS LIKE A TREASURE HIDDEN  IN THE FIELD, WHICH A MAN FOUND AND HID, AND IN HIS JOY GOES AND SELLS ALL THAT HE HAS,  AND BUYS THAT FIELD.” — MATT. 13:44

The brother’s testimony matches with the message we pursued during the churching trip. A real believer must have a change in concept of value. Without proper concept of value, it is very easy to be affected by other things, to be distracted from Christ and the church to choose other things. The brother's change in values allowed him to choose truly the best from among many choices, Christ and the church. They did not forsake coming together because of the small number of local saints, but rather remained steadfast under the leading of this ministry and longed to meet and fellowship with saints in other churches. This shows me that my concept of value towards Christ and the church needs to be more precious day after day. Through the churching trip, I see that Christ is more precious because He is worthy of us giving ourselves and be spent for Him. At the same time, I also saw the preciousness of the church, and I longed to have more blending with the churches, through which I could receive the word and enjoy abundant supply. —— CSA
