Praise the Lord! In this blending trip to Thailand, I had seen much and learned much. Through this blending, the Lord had many breakthroughs and thoroughfare in me. I especially treasure that we are all members in the Body, we need one another, and we are perfecting one another. In one of the meetings, we sang hymn “I’m thankful that God has placed me”, there is a line that said ‘Christ in you is the hope for me! You also need Christ lived in me.’ This caused me to see further that we are members one of another, we are living in one Body, supporting and supplying one another. I am a rather quiet and introverted person; in the past, I did not realize that we are members in the Body, and we need one another. But in this blending trip I had many opportunities to pray, fellowship, coordinate, and to preach the gospel with the saints, so that I can come out of myself. I am very joyful that not only was I receiving supply from the others, but I also realized that I need to be more open and taking the initiative to supply the others. This was my first time contacting people through gospel preaching. From being afraid, timid, and not knowing how to share at the beginning, to finally being able to share, I treasure that I am not alone, but I had a companion to coordinate with me. I need to be open to learn. We preach the gospel not by our own knowledge, but by the rivers of living water flowing out of our spirits. I also enjoyed the prayer meeting with the local saints, everyone was very organic, actively speaking, responding and supporting, greeting each other and singing hymns. In this process, the Body is built up. In addition, I saw how inadequate my knowledge and enjoyment of the Lord were. I need to be perfected and equipped more so that my living and serving are in the Body and for the building up of the Body. Everything we do should be for the good of the church. May the Lord continue to lead us so that we may not only have outward experiences, but also be truly transformed in life, so that we may become living and functioning members of His Body to minister Christ and to perfect the saints for the building up of the church. Amen! – Carol Chin
Praise the Lord, I treasure the fact that our going out is in the Body. Through this trip, I have come to a deeper realization and seeing of our living in the Body. My group joined the prayer meeting in District 12, we pray for the Lord’s move in the Body. We fellowshipped with the saints there, joining ourselves to them in our prayers. I treasure seeing all the saints functioning — from the young to the elderly. We had a grandmother in our group whose prayers truly shepherded and encouraged me. After the meetings, we had time for blending and greeting one another. The fellowship was sweet and organic. We treasured the Christ in one another. I saw that the Body is built up through the mutual supply and interdependence of its members. I also witnessed many patterns before me—saints who have pass through the training, picked up the burden and migrated to cities near universities to begin campus work. The saints are very active and aggressive in the Lord’s work. This is how the churches in Salaya and Bang Sao Thong began. We need to be trained by the Lord so that when He calls, we will be ready to be His testimony. We need to learn to consider, care for, honor, and do what is best for the Body. I see that no matter where I am, I need the Body, I want to be with the saints. I must remain under the supply and protection of the Body. May God further lead us on in the Body. – Priscilla Gunn
