Col. 1:12 says, “Giving thanks to the Father,who has qualified you for a share of the allotted portion of the saints in the light.” This verse shows us that the all-inclusive Christ as our allotted portion is enjoyed in the light. To enjoy this portion we must be in the light.When we come together, God gathers us in the light. Therefore, whenever we meet together such as churching or blending trip, God gathers us in the light and we are able to enjoy the riches of Christ as our portion. Such a blending is not to socialize but the blending of the very Christ whom the members of the Body have enjoyed, experienced, and partaken of. This blending is for the building up of the universal Body of Christ (Eph. 1:23) to consummate in the New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:2) as the final goal of God’s economy according to His good pleasure (Eph. 3:8-10; 1:9-10).

Throughout the 3 days 2 nights trip to Tadom Hill Resort, I enjoyed spending time with the saints from morning to evening. Apart from having fun involved in various games i.e. beach volleyball, frisbee, tug of war, bamboo rafting, and more volleyballs,it was truly a joy to blend with the saints from all ages, coming from different localities and different districts. But the greatest joy of all was to see those who were lost have rekindled their love towards the Lord and being restored to the joy of their salvation! Spending time with the saints affords the Spirit grounds to wash us and renew us from within. Thus, whenever we find ourselves being stale and old, we should go and blend with the saints! For we will be filled with joy of the Spirit once again.
