Testimonies from the Confirmation Class Children who attended the Trainings in Bintulu and Manjung

Second Timothy 2:21 say, “If therefore anyone cleanses himself from these, he will be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, useful to the master, prepared unto every good work.” I came to know about some life practices, e.g. exercising of our conscience and of our spirit etc. during the training. These messages help me to know more of God and be nearer to God. Besides, the training schedule trains me to be diligent and punctual. Training perfects me to be a vessel unto honor and useful to the Lord.
I enjoyed the message about cultivating the character—being single (concentrated). We are not able to be single-minded by ourselves, but God is able. I need to do everything single-mindedly. I want to keep my heart purely toward the Lord!
Brothers and sisters, during these two weeks’ training in Bintulu, I learnt how to do household chores in a neat and tidy way. When I face difficulties in doing household chores, I will call on the Lord’s name and the Lord will lead me through my difficulties. I also learnt to be an exact person. There was once when I was late to the Lord’s Table meeting. After confessing to the Lord, I exercise to come five minutes early to the meeting. In these two experiences, I really touched the Lord. I learnt that I need to be exact in everything and always trust in the Lord.
Brothers and sisters, during the two-week perfecting training, I was exposed by the verse, “Do not be slothful in zeal, but be burning in spirit, serving the Lord.” (Rom. 12:11) I was always being slow in responding to my mother whenever she asked me to help in household chores. After the training, I was encouraged to cultivate the character of being diligent so that I may be a useful vessel to the Lord.
During the training, I learned the truth that God has made the earth and the earth is for man and man has a spirit (Zech. 12:1). Now I know that I have a spirit and I can use my spirit to pray and contact God. I enjoy having new friends and they are all my sisters in the Lord.
Brothers and sisters, I have learned a lot from the two-week training. The serving ones encouraged us to be diligent and manage our time wisely by following a daily schedule. We should cultivate the habit of exercising our spirit, calling on the name of the Lord and pray-reading the Lord’s word to be nourished when we rise up in the morning. I experienced a change in my conduct after the training. I enjoyed listening to God’s speaking in the lessons. What impressed me the most was the physical exercise in the morning which will keep us healthy. I have made a lot of friends too, what a joy! I was really touched by the verse, “But flee youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” (2 Tim. 2:22) Amen!
Brothers and sisters, I enjoy the training in Manjung. Even though I felt tired sometimes, but it was very fun. I became braver to speak in front of the brothers and sisters. I gained more Christ and I understand the mystery of Christ even deeper. I would recommend all of us to go for the training.
