Malaysia Campus Blending Conference (Nov 15-17, 2024) (Part Two)

Campus students’ testimonies on the past Malaysia Campus Blending Conference held on the 15th to 17th November, 2024 [Part II]: -

In this conference, I saw that the church is the desire of God’s heart. He gave up Himself for the church. Paul is truly our pattern; his whole life was entirely for the church and Christ Himself. I treasure that we are not living an “indifferent church life” today. Instead, we must live our church life according to the patterns of Christ and of Paul, to regard ourselves as slaves, to sacrifice everything for others, and to give the best to the Lord. Finally, I would like to declare: Oh! I love the church, just as Christ loves the church. Amen!
Thank the Lord that I can participate in this conference and blend with campus students from various localities. Everyone exercised their spirits and actively shared Christ. Through the brothers’ words of fellowship, once again I see that God’s heart desire is for us to live in the church, not merely as someone who attends meetings regularly, but as a group of people who truly love Christ and the church. If we love the Lord, we will be willing to spend time coming to Him in our daily living, remembering Him in everything we do, and establishing an intimate relationship with Him. Whenever we think of Him, we will be happy unconsciously, just like falling in love with the Lord! By allowing Him to have more room in us and spending time in His Word, we will experience transformation, growth, and being built up.

This conference also changed my sense of value, I see that loving the Lord means giving Him the first place in all things. Then the Lord will be our satisfaction and gives us everything we need. Everything we have on earth is a gift from the Lord, and He can take it away at any time because what is noble among men is abominable before God (Luke 16:15). There are too many things occupying us in this world, whether money or entertainment, all these frustrate us from hearing God’s speaking. Therefore, we need to live in the church so that we can be preserved and continue to live in the spirit. In order for our spirit to be cleansed, we need to be in the Lord’s word every day and be filled by His life so that the divine element increases and the human element decreases in us.
It is wrong to want Christ merely but not the church. For Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her. Therefore, we should also take the church as our center, loving not only Christ but also the church that Christ loves.
Every believer should have the experience of the lover in Song of Songs. In Song of Songs, I see how Shulammite is transformed from a mare among Pharaoh’s chariots to have eyes like doves simply by loving the Lord! (S.S 1:9, 15) I may be natural in my self, but I simply need to love the Lord and turn to Him. I also see how much the Lord loves the church. He is willing to give everything He has to gain the church. Likewise, when we say we love Christ, we will also love the church. It is only when we have experienced the cross in our daily living, will there be life flowing out for the church.
“O you who dwell in the gardens, / My companions listen for your voice; / Let me hear it.” —  S.S 8:13 In this college conference, the brothers helped us to look at the church from God’s view. What touched me most is that the church is absolutely a pure product of Christ, that is, we believers who have been chosen and predestined by Him are exactly the same as He is in life and in nature but not in the Godhead. Moreover, the church is not composed of individual Christians but the building up of all the saints. During this conference, the Lord gave me this verse which enlightened me to see that I should not merely have the personal enjoyment of the Lord but even the more hearing what the Lord has to say to us corporately with the brothers and sisters.
Throughout this conference, I was most deeply impressed to see that many lovers of Christ willingly outpour their love for the Lord. As the experience of the lover in Song of Songs, “Draw me; we will run after you” (1:4a). Not alone do we adore the Lord but with all the saints as His dear Bride (Hymns #1159). It is truly a privilege to give ourselves to love the Lord and to spend and be utterly spent for the church! As the younger generation in the Lord’s recovery, our life is wholly for Christ and the church. I consecrated myself anew to take this way, having both my feet stand firmly in the church. My life and my future are for the Lord and for His church.

Precious Lord, my flask of alabaster
 Gladly now I break in love for Thee;
I anoint Thy head, Beloved Master;
 Lord, behold, I’ve saved the best for Thee.
Dearest Lord, I waste myself upon Thee;
 Loving Thee, I’m deeply satisfied.
Love outpoured from hidden depths within me,
 Costly oil, dear Lord, I would provide.
