There were two sisters from Petaling Jaya who attended the two-week perfecting training in Bintulu. The following are their testimonies:

Acts 7:22 says, “And Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and he was powerful in his words and works.” From this verse, I see that if we were to be perfected by the Lord in the matter of service, we should receive good education. Previously, I used to think that I only study for the examinations. As a Christian, however, we must receive good education to become a useful vessel to the Lord. Therefore, I will learn the three languages well so that in the future, I can bring the gospel to more people that they may hear the gospel of God and believe into the Lord Jesus.

In this training I enjoyed 2 Timothy 2:22, which says, “But flee youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” In the lesson, one brother mentioned if we have more worldly friends, we would easily sin or become worldly. This does not mean that we should not contact them, but we should see them as gospel friends who can eventually become our spiritual companions. In the past, I have not preached the gospel to my friends. But now I see that I should preach the gospel to my friends, leading them to salvation to become my spiritual companion, to love and pursue the Lord with me.
