Testimonies of the Youth Perfecting (2)

In this training, I learned the exercise of character – diligence. Romans 12:11, “Do not be slothful in zeal, but be burning in spirit, serving the Lord.” Before coming to the training, I am a person who is very lazy at home, and does not like to do homework. But after the training, I will take the initiative to do my homework. I see that diligence is the fundamental requirement of a servant of the Lord. The Lord’s servant should seize his time, not squandering his time and strength. I also see that we need to be diligent in two aspects: first, we need to be diligent enjoying the Lord, second, we need to be diligent in the development of divine life and nature, so that we can grow up in life unto maturity. — Hsu Chen Yan
I enjoyed that prophesying is to speak for God, speak forth God and speak God into others. By prophesying, we can remember more of the word of God and take it as our own. We can bring God to others by prophesying. — Lee Yi Jane
In this training, I see that even though we are a sinner before God, but God is willing to give His only begotten Son to accomplish salvation for us, not merely to save us but also for us to have His life. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone who believes into Him would not perish, but would have eternal life.” God moves us with His love so that we can serve Him and be the servants of the Lord. I also see the importance of the word of God. Every word of God is full of life, light and power. We need to learn to eat, drink and breath in the word of God, “Your words were found and I ate them” (Jer. 15:16). The word of God is spirit and is life! In the training, I began to overcome the fear of prophesying. Matthew 10:20 says, “For you are not the ones speaking, but the Spirit of your Father is the One speaking in you.” Amen! — Loh Jing Shi
Man is sinful and needs God’s salvation. God needs man to accomplish His will. To save man, God even gave His only begotten Son to man. Today, we just need to repent and believe to receive this salvation. To repent is to turn to God, to believe is to receive God into us. In the training I also see that to read the word of God is to know God and the character of diligence makes us useful to God. I want to serve God single-heartedly, listening to God throughout my entire life. — Yobal Hii
I really enjoyed the upper youth perfecting. I am especially touched by the history of the Lord's recovery. The perfecting covers the church. These messages helped me to have a new understanding about the church, and I am glad to be the called ones by God and be the church. Amen. —Daniel Tham
In the upper youth perfecting, I truly enjoyed the messages on the Lord’s recovery concerning how the brothers and sisters before us sacrificed everything just to restore the Bible and the recovery of the truth. These few messages enlightened me to treasure the Bible and I am glad to be in the Lord’s recovery. Today, the work of the Lord’s recovery needs to be continued in our generation, only then we can bring in the kingdom of the Lord, for the accomplishment of God’s heart’s desire. I enjoyed the final stanza of Hymn #472, ‘Savior, Thou who thus hast loved me, Give me love like this.’ (Chinese literal translation: ‘Lord, grant me such a desire, to be absolutely faithful regardless of life or death’) — Hope Hii
