From 19th December 2025 to 4th January 2026, there were the year-end events in Sabah held in three stages namely, (i) BM-speaking Conference (19-21/12/2025), (ii) BM-speaking Saints Training (22-25/12/2025) and (iii) Gospel Move in Sabah (26/12/2025—4/1/2026). There were in total 6 saints from the church in Petaling Jaya participated in the events in various stages. The following are the testimonies of the saints:

Being Perfected under the Ministry to Do the Work in Three Stages

During the BMSST, what I treasure the most was the fellowship concerning the burden of the training. In 2 Corinthians 13:9b, “…this also we pray for, your perfecting.” For the perfecting of the saints, the training in this nature needs to be carried on time after time and year after year. Entering the third year of this Perfecting being held in Keningau since year 2023, from the 45 trainees in the beginning to the current 107 trainees participating in the Perfecting, the brothers bearing the responsibility in this ministry are burdened for more and more BM-speaking saints to be perfected and the saints who speak other languages to be trained to minister in this language, this burden has never ceased. And this burden will never cease until the day of the fulfilment of Ephesians 4:12, “For the perfecting of the saints unto the work of the ministry, unto the building up of the Body of Christ.”  

Following the end of BMSST, we were ushered into the “vineyard” for gospel work. I am thankful to the Lord that I was assigned to Tambunan this time, a small town which is located an hour away from Keningau. The church in Tambunan was established in year 2009 through a group of saints who laboured in Sabah for one and half to two years after the full-time training. After more than a decade, seeing those who pioneered this land once again returned to strengthen this small yet precious church really leaves a very deep impression in me.  

The Lord showed me that we must do the work in three stages, at the first stage of incarnation we produce the believers through the gospel, at the second stage of inclusion we are planting the church trees, and at the final stage of intensification there must be the perfecting of the believers to produce the overcomers. At one hand the “first generation” saints were getting older, but on the other hand, the Lord has raised up some young and fresh ones for His testimony. Through this gospel move, we entered into others’ labor to continue sowing the seed of life and be coordinated with the local saints gleaning in the field. In the work of God, not only there is the beginning, the spreading, there must also be the continuation. The gospel is the initiation of the work of God, the spreading of the work of God is through the gospel, and the gospel is the continuation of the work of God. — EC

Receiving Commission for the Spreading and Furtherance of the Gospel

During the ITERO open session last year, I saw that the Lord as the true Vine desires to spread. Thus, as branches in the vine, we have a commission to spread. That led me to join the BM-speaking saints training and gospel move in Sabah by faith with my one talent. How I thank the Lord for this opportunity and privilege!

In these 10 days, I received so much perfecting, especially in the matter of truth, service and coordination. I thoroughly enjoyed the prayers, service, fellowship and coordination in the Body in one accord for the furtherance of the gospel. Indeed, I experienced that there is no lack in His Body when we come together and exercise our functions. What I lack, the other members will cover and vice versa. Above all, I enjoyed the presence of our dear Lord as Emmanuel, God with us.  

In John 5:17, “Jesus said to them, My Father is working until now and I also am working.” Saints, the Lord’s work needs our cooperation. After the gospel move, there is still a huge need in the following up and shepherding of the many new contacts. May we go the Lord, seek His will and be shepherded by Him in this matter so that we can render Him our highest cooperation in praying, giving and going for His spread in Sabah. Lord, raise up Your golden lampstands in the remaining 11 localities in Sabah for Your testimony! Lord, You are Victor! — CLSF
