In this Campus Blending Conference, a brother’s words woke me up: "Today we are not short of people who know the kingdom, but we are short of people who enter into the reality of the kingdom." A life in the reality of the kingdom of the heavens, is by no means live out through our own endeavoring; but it is something that comes from first being poor in spirit and pure in heart, receiving God, being filled with God, and then live out God. This kind of living is absolutely impossible with man, but it is possible with God. The Lord said, “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matt. 6:33) The condition to enter into the reality of the kingdom is to be poor in spirit, pure in heart. We often have many pursuits and hope. Do we not know that our Lord knows all our needs? But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness (Rom. 14:17).
Today, the Lord desire to gain a group of people who have His image to express Him and have His authority to represent Him. (Gen. 1:26) God’s authority has been given to us so that we may overcome all the creeping things on the earth, which is Satan. In our experience, we are often weak, easily being offended, that is because we do not have the reality of the kingdom of God. If we are willing to exercise to allow God passed through and reign in all things, then we are those who live according to God’s will. Only those who have the Lord’s authority can practically reign over everything. May we all be vessels that are emptied and open so that the Lord will have His move unhindered in us! ——HXXF
Genesis 1:26, “And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of heaven and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” I am really being enlightened that the verse doesn’t stop at “over all the earth”, instead, it emphasizes again “over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth”. Man has the divine image to express God, and divine authority to represent God, not only to rule the fish of the sea, birds of heaven, cattle and the earth, but also subdue the creeping things! God’s desires for man to subdue the earth and particularly His enemy Satan! Hallelujah! We are above Satan with God’s authority!
Thus, for us to have the full image of God to express God and to realize the full authority of God to represent God in subduing His enemy, we must have God as life to us. The reason that sometimes we feel so weak and easily to be defeated is because that in our life, we do not live under the authority and ruling of God. The enemy will turn people to anything else; as long as Satan can keep them out of the kingdom, he is satisfied. Do you want Satan to be satisfied? No! Only that which is under the ruling of the Lord Jesus is in the kingdom. May we all live in the reality of the kingdom of God! We need to be in this life process, life growing in us and life ruling over us, life is Christ Himself in us today! Oh, God desperately needs a group of people to express Him, to represent Him, which is His kingdom! ——SLJR
Matthew 6:24, “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” To enter through the narrow gate and walk on the constricted path, the matter of mammon needs to be dealt with once and for all in our lives. Without a thorough settling in the matter of material riches, it will be hard for the Lord to gain ground in us, and we will not be able to serve the Lord well as His slave. Through the brother’s penetrating speaking, the Lord shines on me, who do I truly love and serve? Is it the Lord or is it mammon. It is only by the Lord’s mercy can we be delivered from the love of money, to serve our Master faithfully. For this I pray to the Lord to be merciful to me, make me a vessel pure in heart, single in purpose, to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, doing the Father’s will. Knowing well that our heavenly Father knows all our needs. “I love, I love My Master, I will not go out free.”
Matthew 7:21 serves as a timely reminder, “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but he who does the will of My Father who is in the heavens.” Many times, we may be ensnared by the lust of work which we do in the Lord’s name, but there is the danger that the Lord may say to us “I never knew you. Depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness.” As the kingdom people, our living and our work are not for anything other than doing the will of the Father, that is to build up the church as the Body of Christ. May the Lord searches and proves us, that we would never stray but closely following Him on this constricted way all the way to the end. —— EC
What impressed me the most in the campus blending was "seizing the opportunity". Although I only participated in the last two days of the event, there were still many gains and feelings. I really thank the Lord that I did not miss this opportunity to join the campus blending, so much so that when I heard this, I had so much resonance. In just two days, with a pure heart together with all the brothers and sisters, we saw the manifestation of God. Matthew 5:8, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." In this blending, we all have the same one goal: to accomplish God's will to glorify God.
At the same time, I also had much reflection upon what the brothers has spoken. Indeed, after leaving the conference, we all return to our own lives, so how can we grasp the Lord in our daily lives? I think it should not be just simply attending the Lord’s Day meeting, blending and love feast in our daily living, but also a day to day and moment by moment practice. It is by calling on the Lord’s name to exercise our spirit, the Lord Jesus may manifest and work in our spirits. Let us open ourselves to the Lord with all our hearts, rely on the Lord completely, and not be foolish person, but call on the Lord more in our daily lives, have deeper personal relationship with the Lord, get closer to the Lord, pray and fellowship with the Lord, prepare for the Lord's coming and seize opportunities in our daily lives instead of waiting until the eve of the coming of the Lord's kingdom to prepare in a haste. It is only in this way can we become God's true chosen ones, enter the kingdom of Christ and of God, and seek God's righteousness. ——JXK
Thank the Lord, we are the people of the kingdom of God. We are not merely living in the earthly realm, but we are living in the realm of the reality of God’s kingdom. I treasure that we need to seize the opportunity to exercise, while we are still on the earth today, for there is reward in the coming age that is to reign with the Lord. We must keep these words in our hearts, that it may be a governing and controlling vision, not allowing the word that we have heard becoming a good message that has nothing to do with our daily living. Then we will be the people living in the reality of God’s kingdom, to be His bride, to bring the Lord back. ——LC
In this college conference, I enjoyed that God's goal was to build up His kingdom, and the enemy's goal was to destroy God's kingdom. For this reason, the enemy uses all kinds of temptations to turn us away from God and from the kingdom. Once we are distracted from the kingdom, the enemy is satisfied. It is a matter of what realm are we living in our daily lives. If we live within the realm of the kingdom, we are under God's control, and if we live apart from God, we are living in the realm of the devil. Therefore, we need to repent to the Lord so that our hearts can turn to the Lord and surrender our will to God's will. We must also pray to the Lord that we may be poor in spirit and pure in heart like good earth, humble ourselves be completely emptied and having single heart to the Lord, so that the seeds of the kingdom may not only be sown in us, but also grow, sprout, bear fruit, and mature, that we may live out the reality of the kingdom. ——TKY
God’s goal is the kingdom of God. Today Christ as the kingdom seed has been sown into us to grow and mature in us. This is a very long process. In this process, there will surely be the frustration and hindrance from Satan, but if we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, He will care for all our needs. Regardless of our conditions and environments, we just need to be simple and turn to our spirit, beholding our Lord with a single heart, spontaneously the Lord will care for all our needs. When we enjoy Christ to a certain extent, we can say that our living is for the gospel of the kingdom.
God’s goal is for the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom, to consummate this age and attain to God’s ultimate purpose. We do not want the work of the gospel of God’s kingdom to stop at our generation, we must have a resolution, no matter where the Lamb goes, we must closely follow. “Lord, for the gospel of Your kingdom, I am willing to consecrate myself, Lord, here I am, send me!” ——LKS
