Fellowship Concerning Campus Students' New Semester (1)

October 2025 marked the beginning of a new semester for the campus students in University Malaya. In this new semester, we are blessed with an addition of thirteen new students studying in UM. Amongst whom, there were five moved into the brothers’ and sisters’ house. On 11th October, the existing students and the new students were gathered for a time of feasting and fellowship. The freshness and newness of their spirits brought a breath of fresh air and strengthened all of us to have a new beginning in the Lord! To encourage the new ones, the brothers and sisters living in the students’house testified concerning their campus years here in Petaling Jaya. The following are their testimonies: -

The Most Worthwhile Campus Life

What is the most worthwhile campus life? When I first come here to study, my serving one asked me the same question. Our campus life is only a short four years; to live the most worthwhile campus life is to live in the church life, living a corporate living with the brothers. I can testify that in the brothers’ house, we have nothing, we only have Christ! Outwardly speaking, we are just like any other students, we need to study and taking exams etc. But our living is entirely different with theirs. In the brothers’ house we are living the body life by learning to be open to one another, intercede for one another, care for one another, encouraging one another, loving and pursuing the Lord together, so that we can live a life described in Song of Songs 1:4a, “Draw me; we will run after you.” This is the most worthwhile campus life! Normal Daily Growth in Life by Living a God-Man Living

I treasure the Lord’s human living on the earth for thirty-three and a half years, He was growing daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. His growth is not merely expressed on the appearance, but also advancing in wisdom and in stature and in the grace manifested in Him before God and men (Luke 2:52). Growth requires time and also suitable environment. Living in the sisters’ house is a very precious opportunity for me to exercise living the God-man living so that my spiritual life can grow gradually unto maturity. I especially treasure the morning revival and night prayer in the sisters’ house, and also being cherished and supported by the sisters in humanity. The experience in this period of time established me in the church life. More importantly, I also learned that to live in the church life is not merely to be served, but also exercise to coordinate from our days as a student, to serve together with the saints and to serve God to others. Enjoying the Lord Corporately by Living a Hidden Life in Faith

Nowadays I really have a deeper enjoyment of this hymn:
“Father, I know that all my life is portioned out for me, /And the changes that are sure to come I do not fear to see; / But I ask Thee for a present mind intent on pleasing Thee.” — New Song #12
I see that nothing in our Christian life occurs by chance, even where I am placed to study, and my staying in the sisters’ house with the sisters are all by God's mercy for my growth in life. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” In the sister's house I am preserved to live the normal church life. I enjoyed that I can pray with the sisters to share the same burden from the Lord, have morning revival together and pursue the ministry books together. These few weeks, we also practice to speak words of grace to each other. The Lord is so enjoyable! In the sisters’ house I am preserved. The normal church life is in our daily living. May we all spend much time in secret with the Lord, and run together with those who call upon Him out from a pure heart pursue after Him! He is the Author and Perfector of our faith, for apart from Him I can do nothing! Today I just need to rely on Him as my life in my day to day living. Praise the Lord! (FH)

Being Perfected to Live a Daily Church Life for the Building Up of the Body of Christ

Thank the Lord, I have lived in the church in PJ for close to two years. It is very different to live in the brothers’ house and living on my own. Here, we can live a God-man living and spiritual church life. In the beginning, I was not used to living the church life here in a big city. But when I see the brothers and sisters, I feel at home. The brothers and sisters in the church are like family members in the house of God.
Thank the Lord, I also enjoyed the various services that the Lord has provided me, not merely in the meeting, but also the coordination at Eden Residence, these services allow us to offer up our one talent for the building up of the Body. Ephesians 4:16, “Out from whom all the Body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and through the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love.” Here we see that the only way to build up the Body is by functioning. We need to offer up our portion, then there will be a way to build, and the Lord’s recovery will be able to advance.
In the brothers’ house, we are living a life that is not separated from the church life. It is by living in this way that I can closely follow the footsteps of the Lamb. I treasure the church life, not merely that I can see the needs of the Body, but also that I need to offer up my portion for the building up of the Body. Amen! (LKS)
Enjoying The Divine Dispensing in a Normal Christian Living

Praise the Lord for His sovereignty that allowed me to stay in the brothers’ house for the past six months. As I was considering what to share about this experience, the Lord gave me a simple phrase—a normal Christian living.
When we think of the brothers’ house, we might first think of all the "spiritual" activities, and we certainly have them. We have morning revivals to start our day. We have love feasts and the cleaning up afterwards. We’ve hosted brothers from Taiwan and Manjung. We serve together in the meetings, and we just served in the last ITERO. We join blendings and conferences together, like the upcoming campus blending.
But the Lord has shown me that the normal Christian life is found just as much in the moments in-between. It’s found in navigating our different sleep schedules. It's learning how to share a single bathroom in the morning rush. It's figuring out whose turn it is to do laundry. I even learned how to live without a microwave!
I realized that all of these experiences, whether great or small, sweet or sour, are the very fabric of a normal Christian life. This is where we actually learn to apply Christ as our patience, as our endurance, as our peace and as our supply. It stopped being just about enduring daily frustrations and started being about seeing every small challenge as a fresh opportunity to taste and enjoy the Lord as our real and present supply.
Let's enjoy our campus time. Let's keep ourselves in the divine stream simply by loving the Lord. Play hard, study hard, and enjoy the Lord throughout it all. Most importantly, live a normal Christian life. Because it is in the middle of our normal, everyday lives that we experience His divine dispensing and practically enjoy Him as grace. (GW)
