From the 19th to 21st of December 2025, there were 48 saints from Petaling Jaya joined the Young Working Saints’ Blending and Churching Trip to Alor Setar, Sungai Petani, and Ipoh. Through these three days and two nights journeying up north, the Lord grant us a sweet and rich blending. He opened our eyes to see more of the universal Body of Christ expressed in various localities. Station by station, our vision is broadened and our hearts enlarged. We also thank the Lord for blessing us with a good and harmonious coordination in the oneness of the Body of Christ. The following are the saints’ testimonies:
Praise the Lord for the churching and blending trip with the churches in the northern localities. I was deeply supplied by the Body of Christ, both physically and spiritually. Despite differences in location and size, there was a genuine oneness, and all expressed Christ. I was deeply touched by the brothers and sisters in each locality who received us in love with much hospitality. This trip refreshed me to see that the church is not about outward conditions, but about Christ being lived out and expressed everywhere.
The ministry words shared during this trip were titled “A Change of Concept Concerning Value.” As in the Bible verse which says, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matt. 6:21) We treasure the things we consider precious. May all the saints have a change of concept concerning value and always seek the Lord first before earthly things. We need to make choices in our daily living, and if we ever make the wrong choice in challenging situations, do not be disappointed—take heart and turn back to the Lord. Amen. — WPL
Thank and praise the Lord! I chose to participate in this outing with a group of young working saints because I know clearly in my heart that such blending is full of benefit and supply for me. Although it requires paying a price in time and in energy, my heart was filled with joy during the journey. I also treasure the opportunity to blend with the saints, to fellowship with one another, and to supply one another. Through this outing, I see that no matter where we meet, as long as we are in the spirit we are the one Body. Such blending enlarged my capacity, so that I would not come to the meeting merely for myself, but to enjoy and experience the Lord Jesus with all the saints and to grow in life together.
The message this time especially spoke concerning change of concept concerning valuation. The Lord also enlightened me through Matthew 16:26, “For what shall a man be profited if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul-life? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul-life?” This verse makes me reconsidered, what I pursue and choose every day—is it earthly success or spiritual gain? We are all very busy with our earthly lives and are often constrained by time, which affects our decisions in every choice we make. In particular, the world is full of attraction and temptation, which often makes us hesitate in the matter of whether to attend meetings, whether to separate our time for the Lord. Today the Lord do not want us to gain the world, He wants us to gain Himself.
Throughout the journey, I was also very touched by the saints’ hospitality. In Alor Setar, Sungai Petani and Ipoh, the saints’ hospitality in each locality were full of love and providing us practically, I truly experienced the warmth and supply in the Body. Especially in Sungai Petani, the saints sang Hymn #423 in Chinese Supplement full of feeling, which brought me into a deeper enjoyment of the Lord, so that I was touched and renewed by the love of the Lord once again. This fellowship not only renewed my values but also deepened my appreciation for the church life. May the Lord continue to adjust my life and choices, so that even in my busy life I may still offer up my best time to Him, going on with the saints for the building up of His body. — BUKS
Thank the Lord for the wonderful time of blending not only with the saints in Petaling Jaya, but even more with the saints in Alor Setar, Sungai Petani and Ipoh. These localities are smaller in number, but they are still God's golden lampstands! I was very encouraged to see the familiar group of faithful saints labouring and serving for so many years. They are a testimony that God is their very source! And this reminds me that it is a matter of our concept of value, like Paul who counted all things as loss, only Christ was his gain, these saints certainly have the same value! Through the saints' supply, this blending trip also refreshed my spirit from oldness. May we have more blending and mutual encouragement to be strengthened in our service! Their going on is surely for us, and our going on is for them in the Body. Lord, I renew my consecration to begin anew again! — CWX
I enjoyed the pursue message we had in the blending. As a believer, we need to know the true concept of value. We should not value things according to our natural self or worldly concept. Matthew 6:32-33 touches me that I should seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. As the new year begins, O Lord, may You be my strength to overcome and live a normal church life, pursuing His Word. Amen. — DL
Thank the Lord for the blending trip. It was my first visit to the church in Alor Setar and Sungai Petani. The saints are really faithful and great patterns. I am strengthened to pray and have more body consciousness for the golden lampstands as His testimony on the earth. I also enjoyed the messages, sharing and mutual shepherding with the saints throughout the blending. — LLS
I am very joyful that this time I can participate in the blending trip to Kedah, Ipoh and nearby churches. I treasure that there are the Lord’s golden lampstands in every place, although the number is small, they are still firmly serving the Lord. I hope that we will have more blending; adding more riches of the Body to the brothers and sisters in every place, and that we may also enjoy the riches in the Body. — SLSS
It is a great joy to go out and blend with the brothers and sisters. Thank the Lord for placing us in His universal Body, with many patterns as a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us. I am very encouraged by the saints in Alor Setar, especially the serving brother and his family. They labored for the Lord at that locality for years, during the blending in the meeting hall they were serving in harmony. Such a testimony truly encouraged us to love the Lord more, to advance in growth.
In the church in Sungai Petani, one elderly brother exhorted us to be serious in the learning of the truth and to pay the price laboring in the word of the Lord. In particular, the young ones need to spend much time learning the truth so that they become constituted with the truth, to be rich in milk and honey. We need to do this in order to advance in spiritual growth, to be a person who minister life. Thank the Lord, through the blending I have a renewed seeing. May the Lord bless us, not merely to remain in the church life, but to positively receiving the Lord’s training, becoming a positive factor for the church, encouraging one another, striving forward! — JYL
