The 2026 Summer International College Training in Asia (ICTA) was held from July 20th to 26th at the Bible Truth Ministry (FTTS Training Center) in Yong-in City, South Korea this year. There were over nine hundred college students and serving ones from ten countries participated in this training. For the first four days, we entered the 2026 June Semiannual Training messages, the general subject is “The Believers (1)”; while the last three days were spent in small groups visiting churches throughout South Korea.
The speaking in the training helped us to see that as believers, we need to live out our identity every day. We are disciples, believers, saints, and Christians; we are also heirs of God, living stones, sheep, brothers of Christ, vessels of mercy unto honor and glory, pillars, luminaries, the harvest, firstfruits, the bride and a warrior of Christ. As the disciples of the Lord—those who follow and learn Christ—by growing and being transformed in Christ as the living stone, the Triune God being wrought into us that we may become the New Jerusalem. This New Jerusalem is the very bride of Christ, that is the warrior who defeats God’s enemy, accomplishing God’s eternal purpose. We must not only know and experience our spiritual identity, but also grow in life to become His bride, to bring the Lord back. The following are the sharing from five college students from Petaling Jaya who joined ICTA: -
1 Peter 2:4-5 “Coming to Him, a living stone, rejected by men but with God chosen and precious, You yourselves also, as living stones…” We are believers, we are also living stones! We may wonder how human created of clay can become living stones, but God says we are living stones, like Christ, through regeneration and transformation. Through regeneration, we received the seed of the divine life, which by its growing in us to transform us into living stones.
Romans 12:2 “...but be transformed by the renewing of the mind that you may prove what the will of God is.” Transformation is the inward metabolic process in which God works to spread His divine life and nature throughout every part of our being, causing our old, natural element to be gradually discharged. As a result, we will be transformed into His image, that is, conformed to the image of the firstborn Son of God as His many brothers. Thus, we will be suitable for the building up of His Body. We need to come to Him and be seen by Him, as the Lord enlightens and judges us, He looks at us and infuses Himself into us for our transformation, and day by day, the transforming spirit will do the transforming work in us, making us the living stones! – LLLP
In God's New Testament economy, God's intention is not an outward miracle but an inward miracle, the inward marvel is that Christ, as the spirit, is wrought into us to be our salvation, inwardly sustaining, strengthening, and empowering us in our weakness to shine out Christ. Sometimes, when I face problems, I seek to find someone who has gone through the same experience so that I can simply follow what they did and achieve the same success. But I realized that even if someone told me their answer was Christ, I still could not truly find the Lord for myself. During the message, I felt discouraged because I thought that even the fellowship and suggestions from my companions, whether from a spiritual or a human point of view, could not really help me.
Then, the Lord enlightened me through this message. I realized that if I do not turn to Him, even if I encounter death, I can never experience resurrection. The one and only secret is the all-inclusive Spirit of Jesus Christ in our spirit as our daily, momentby-moment salvation. When I simply turn to Him and focus on Him, I realize that in Christ there is no problem. He inwardly sustains me, strengthens me, and empowers me. My circumstances may not change immediately, but my inward condition changes because Christ becomes my life and my salvation. Philippian 4:23, “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.” – TWYZ
I touched that we are the Lord’s sheep and the Lord is our Shepherd. I treasured that the brother said, young people often worry about their future—careers, salaries, marriage, and so on. Yet, we need only come before the Lord and open ourselves to Him, for He knows our needs. We just need to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to us (Matt. 6:33). There is no need for us to worry; anxiety and worry come from the evil one. The Lord told us that in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God (Phil. 4:6). If I am faithful to the Lord, He will be faithful to me. As I approach the completion of my master’s degree, I felt anxious about my future; however, the speaking reminded me that I have the Lord, I should trust in the Lord and commit my future to Him, He is our good Shepherd, He will preserve and keep me to the end. – LC
Praise the Lord, we are believers! I really enjoyed that we need to see a vision of Paul’s desire. Paul's desire is our desire. In Philippians 3:10-11 he says, “To know him and the power of resurrection and the fellowships of his sufferings, being conformed to his death, If perhaps I may attain to the outresurrection from the dead."
Brothers and sisters, attaining the out-resurrection should be the goal and destiny of our Christian life! Therefore, we need to be conformed to the death of Christ and by doing so, our entire being is gradually and continually resurrected. What does it mean by gradually and continually? We must die to ourselves every day, and we will have the power of resurrection within us and eventually attaining the out-resurrection because this is the only way for the Lord to build up His church, the only way to prepare the bride, and the only way to bring the Lord back! – LKY
When we speak of Christ as the Bridegroom, the first thing that comes to mind is love, besides that, the returning of the Lord. In order for the Lord to come back, He needs the stepping stones. If we pray, “come quickly!”, the Lord may say, “grow quickly”. If there is no one eagerly waiting for Him, be prepared by growing in life, how can He come back? We need to realize that if we are serious about awaiting the Lord’s coming back, we need to grow in life unto maturity! I am really being enlightened by the word mature in Greek is “at the end point”, and to be mature also means our capacity being enlarged. Our enjoyment needs to be enlarged! Our experience needs to be deepened! The capacity of our service needs to be enlarged! Until we reach maturity.
At the end of the training, the brother spoke about three things for us to consecrate ourselves to the Lord: Bear remaining fruit in our campus! If not, four years are wasted; Go to full-time training! If not, twenty years are wasted; Be the overcomers! If not, our whole life is wasted. May the Lord have mercy on us, by continuing steadfastly in prayer and in the ministry of the word, grant us this heavenly vision, so that we can run our race until the end. – SLKR
